Tuition Fee Loan request form

If you have already applied for support and now wish to amend the amount you requested through the Student Loan for Tuition Fees, complete a Tuition Fee Loan request form.

If you've been asked to supply evidence of income

If the form you have filled in asks you to send in evidence of your income, the documents you need to supply will vary between different EU countries.

Remember that you should only supply these documents if you’re applying for financial help that’s based on your income:

  • the Higher Education Bursary Scholarship Scheme
  • the income-assessed tuition fee grant (may be available if you’re studying in England or Northern Ireland and your course started before September 2006)

Applying for the Higher Education Bursary Scholarship Scheme

You can only apply to the Higher Education Bursary Scholarship Scheme if your college or university is taking part.

If you apply for student finance and indicate that you’re going to a university or college that’s taking part, you should automatically be sent an application form for the Higher Education Bursary Scholarship Scheme. You can also get a copy from the Student Finance Services European Team.

How your information is used

See the 'data protection statements for EU students and sponsors' for details of who will use your information - and what they will use it for.

These statements apply if you:

  • make an application for finance to study in England, Wales or Northern Ireland as an 'EU student' (EU students are those who apply using forms EU9N, EUPR1, EU9B or EUPTG1)
  • are a parent or partner supplying information as the 'sponsor' of someone applying for finance as an EU student

Academic year 2008/2009

Separate forms and guides are available for the 2008/2009 academic year.
