Attorney General's Office

The Attorney General is the chief legal advisor to the government and is responsible for all crown litigation. Along with the Solicitor General they have overall responsibility for the work of the Treasury Solicitors Department, Crown Prosecution Service, Serious Fraud Office, Revenue and Customs Prosecution Office and Her Majesty's Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate.
