Traveleyes

Traveleyes is an organisation that provides independent world travel for blind and visually impaired people. Each holiday group includes an equal number of blind/partially-sighted and sighted individuals. Blind travellers pair daily with different sighted ones, and the sighted traveller describes the sights to their blind partner. The role of the sighted individual is to be a fellow traveller and not to act as a carer. Sighted travellers travel on the holidays for a reduction in price in return for their support. The holiday destinations cover Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia and the Americas, and vary from the unique and exploratory to relaxing sunshine breaks.
