Calculate stamp duty payments on leasehold properties
Use the Stamp Duty Land Tax Calculator to find out how much stamp duty you'll need to pay on a leasehold property.
How to use this service
Available on the Inland Revenue website, this calculator asks you to provide the following information:
- whether the property is residential, commercial or a mixed use property
- whether the property is in a disadvantaged relief area
- the premium amount, if one was paid
- the terms of the lease in years
- the rent for each year (up to five years)
- highest 12 monthly rent in the first five years (or less)
- whether the average annual rent for the lease is greater than £600
