Pay the London congestion charge

You can pay the congestion charge online up to 90 days before you drive in the congestion charging zone - you can pay daily, weekly, monthly or annually

How to use this service

If you drive in central London between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) you will have to pay the £8 per day congestion charge.

To pay your congestion charge online, you will need to provide your:

  • vehicle registration number
  • the date(s) you would like to pay your charge for
  • credit or debit card details

Registering for a Fast Track Card will help speed up future payments.

There are several other ways to pay the congestion charge. You can send a text message, or pay at some shops, petrol stations and car parks. Alternatively you can pay at BT Internet kiosks, by post or by telephone.
